Thomas G. Pagani, of Robbinsville, died Nov. 10 at the age of 52, his obituary says.

Born in Newark, Pagani grew up in Kearny and moved to East Windsor before settling in Robbinsville, where he had lived for over a decade, according to his memorial.

Pagani attended NJIT and joined the Tau Lambda Chi (TAX) Fraternity while earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

He then spent his engineering career with both civil engineer firms and highway engineering firms improving several roadways, his memorial says.

“He was not only a loyal employee, but a brother, friend and mentor to the staff,” says his obituary.

Pagani was also passionate about his role as a coach and president of the Robbinsville Soccer Association (RSA).

More than $4,100 had been raised as of Thursday afternoon on a GoFundMe for Pagani’s final expenses, putting the family nearly halfway toward the $10,000 goal in just five days.

“Thomas Pagani was an amazing husband, father, sibling and friend to so many,” reads the campaign, launched by friends and family.

“He loved his family and friends, and lived every day like it was his last.”

Many friends took to social media to share thoughtful tributes to the beloved coach, father and engineer:

Pagani is survived by his beloved wife, Claudia; their children, Evan, Sarah, and Ethan; his mother, Elizabeth; his siblings and their spouses, Mary and John Casanovas, John Pagani, Christine and George Jay Drake, and Jeanne and Steve Hatfield; as well as numerous extended family members and close friends.

Pagani’s visitation was held Nov. 16 at Saul Colonial Home on Nottingham Way in Hamilton Square.

“Words can’t describe how truly amazing he really was to his family, friends and co- workers,” reads the fundraiser.

“Thomas will forever have a place in our hearts, and wanted us to celebrate his life.”
